Born in Hungary, inspired by the Hungarian heritage of Sol’s father’s family, and shaped by years of travel before settling in New York, every collection reflects a deep appreciation for nature, freedom, and timeless design. Design studies in London further refined this vision, blending European craftsmanship with a modern luxury aesthetic.

Growing up surrounded by dogs made designing for them feel inevitable. Today, every ROMUNGRO creation is inspired by the places that leave lasting memories—forests, coastlines, open fields, quiet campfires, and endless horizons—shared with our most loyal companions.

Every ROMUNGRO piece is handcrafted in New York using premium Italian leather, Spanish wool felt, and carefully selected hardware. Made exclusively to order, each creation reflects patience, precision, and respect for traditional craftsmanship.

Rather than naming colours after simple shades, every leather and wool felt receives its own signature fantasy name inspired by the natural world. Names such as Midnight Tide, Velvet Earth, Moon Veil, Blush Dawn, Raven Hollow, Woodsmoke, Emerald Grove, and Pink Blossom represent landscapes, changing light, forests, coastlines, and the quiet moments that make every journey unforgettable.
